Self care is not always “one size fits all”. Sometimes you have to explore and expand to find what works for you. Through my self care journey, I’ve encountered the good, the bad, and the worst— 

With that in mind, I can’t wait to share what tools and products have genuinely helped me feel more grounded, calm, and motivated! 

Weighted Stuffed Animal

They aren’t just cute! Weighted stuffed animals are actually a very powerful, self soothing tool. Yes, even for adults (especially if you struggle with anxiety).

 I love my weighted kitty cat and how the gentle weight mimics deep pressure stimulation (like a hug), which helps:

  • Lower stress and anxiety 
  • Better sleep
  • Heal Inner child wounds

Aromatherapy 

This is my favorite holistic self care method. For those of you who may not know, aromatherapy is a holistic healing practice that uses natural plant extracts to promote all around well being. 

Common Uses: 

  • Stress relief (lavender, chamomile)

  • Increased focus (peppermint, rosemary)

Adult Coloring Books 

Hear me out when I say this, coloring is a low pressure activity that can help calm racing thoughts. We’ve all been there, unable to quite your mind— but coloring a intricate picture with my favorite calming music & a warm drink, truthfully helps me unwind after a long day.
